Do not install HermesJMS in folders with spaces in them, in other words don't use "Program Files".
As the SeeBeyond ICAN IQ Manager is not JNDI complient use the plug-in to discover queues/topics.

• Setup a new provider with the following jars.
  • <ICANRoot>\logicalhost\stcis\lib\com.stc.jms.stcjms.jar
  • <ICANRoot>\logicalhost\stcis\lib\mx4j-tools.jar
  • <ICANRoot>\logicalhost\stcis\lib\mx4j.jar

• Setup new session with the following properties.
  • Select the Loader as the provider setup in the previous step.
  • Connection Factory – please choose either STCQueueConnectionFactory or STCTopicConnectionFactory. (Do not use STCConnectionFactory).
  • Under the "Property – Value" panel add the following properties with right values.

    Host	IP address (or) hostname where IQ Manager (usually same as logical host).
    Port	Queue Manager port.

• In the "Plug In" dropdown choose "SeeBeyond ICAN".
• Right click under "Plug In" Property – Value panel and add the following properties with appropriate values.

• Right click the session created in step 2 and select "Discover" to fetch the queues or topics depending on which connection factory is chosen.
  
  

• Right click the session and choose Watch>New Watch. The statistics provided here are same as in the SeeBeyond Enterprise Manager.
